Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol Advisory Committee Met March 15

Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol Advisory Committee Met March 15.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

In attendance via WebEx videoconference: Diane Scruggs, Tamara Fuller, Diane Moncher, Janet Ahern, Brenda Lindsey, Dustin Frevert

Meeting called to order at 9:30 AM by Diane Scruggs. Tamara Fuller described to the group that the data from the DCFS training department to be used for this year’s research topic is not in a useable format. Therefore, this committee must vote to accept a new topic for this year’s research project.

It was referenced in a previous meeting that the percentage of unsafe CERAPs had increased 50% since 2017. This committee wants to know if there were other circumstance or underlying conditions during that time period that would cause the percentage of unsafe CERAPS to increase. Tami mentioned that her team could use SACWIS data that is already available to research and produce a report on this topic.

Brenda Lindsey motioned to accept this as the committee’s research topic. Diane Moncher seconded the motion and the group voted in agreement to accept the motion.

Meeting adjourned at 9:44 AM.
