Illinois Labor Relations Board Local Panel met June 10.

I. OPENING OF MEETING 10:00 A.M.—160 North LaSalle Street, S-401, Chicago, IL
II. PRESENT
Lynne O. Sered, Chairman of the Local Panel and Charles E. Anderson, Member of the Local Panel participated in person; Angela C. Thomas, Member of the Local Panel participated via WebEx videoconference; Helen J. Kim, General Counsel, participated in person; Kimberly F. Stevens, Executive Director and staff members participated by WebEx videoconference.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING HELD May 13, 2021
Chairman Sered called for approval of the minutes of the May 13, 2021 meeting. Member Anderson moved to approve the minutes. Member Thomas seconded. The Board passed the motion unanimously, by a roll call and voice vote.
IV. ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
Chairman Sered asked Executive Director Stevens to present the reports. She presented the reports and summarized their highlights.
V. REVIEW OF PROPOSED WRITTEN DECISIONS AND ORDERS
A. Case No. L-RC-21-014
MAP, County of Cook and Cook County Sheriff, and International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 700
General Counsel Kim called and presented the case. Member Anderson made a motion to approve the proposed written decision. Member Thomas seconded the motion, and the Board passed it unanimously, by a roll call and voice vote.
VI. BOARD ACTIONS
A. Case No. L-CA-17-037 and L-CA-20-024
FOP Lodge #7 and City of Chicago (Police Department)
General Counsel Kim called and presented the case to the Board. After discussion, Member Thomas moved to accept the ALJ’s recommendations and adopt the RDO as a decision of the Board. Member Anderson seconded the motion, and the Board passed it unanimously, by a roll call and voice vote.
VII. EXECUTIVE SESSION
After a short discussion regarding whether there was a need for executive session, the Board concluded it was unnecessary.
VIII. PUBLIC COMMENT
No members of the public sought to make comments.
IX. ADJOURNMENT
Chairman Sered called for a motion to adjourn. Member Anderson made a motion to adjourn the meeting, and the Board passed it unanimously, by a roll call and voice vote.
