The Illinois Republican Party is comparing President Joe Biden to Gov. J.B. Pritzker for their alleged lack of ethics.

“Joe Biden and JB Pritzker are two peas in a pod," the Illinois Republican Party said in a fundraiser email. "Both are corrupt politicians who will say anything to hold onto power. Both lie through their teeth to Illinoisans. And both tout an agenda that has failed working Americans.”

Prior to the president's visit Wednesday (May 11) at an Illinois family farm to announce his plans to support American farmers, the Illinois GOP said he needs a "reality check."

“Now, Joe Biden is traveling to Illinois, where he will once again make excuses for his failure to deliver for everyday Americans," the party stated. "If Biden truly thinks that his policies have been good for Americans, he needs a reality check.”

The Illinois Republican Party regarded evident distaste in the federal administration when it comes to unfulfilled pledges.

“Illinoisans are sick of excuses, empty promises and failures from the Biden administration," the GOP said. "If Biden won’t fix the problems he created, he has no business in our state, and he certainly has no business claiming he has been successful.”

Pritzker is noted for his 2018 fiasco in which he pulled the toilets out of his house so they would be appraised at an “uninhabitable” value saving him hundreds of thousands in tax dollars, NBC Chicago reported. Instead, when the ruse was discovered and publicized, Pritzker returned $331,000 in tax dollars.

An investigation into that matter by the city of Chicago found Pritzker schemed the toilet removal plan up. Pritzker only repaid the debt after a scathing report by Inspector General Patrick Blanchard found “evidence indicates that the use of these affidavits was part of a scheme for obtaining money by means of false representations," according to NBC Chicago.

In April, NPR’s David Folkenflik suggested Hunter Biden was under investigation after deals with foreign nations were revealed after one of his laptops was recovered from a computer repair shop. Folkenflik said the emails and other materials obtained from Hunter’s laptop are “suggesting much the same about candidate Joe Biden.”

Biden Chief of Staff Ron Klain was also caught lying on behalf of his boss. Klain said any deal with Hunter did not involve his father, however, a 2021 email from Klain himself asks Hunter for $20,000 for construction at Biden’s house and at the naval observatory when he was vice president, Fox Business reported.
