Illinois Racing Board met March 17

Illinois Racing Board met April 14.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

A regular meeting of the Illinois Racing Board was held at 555 W. Monroe, Chicago, Illinois and via WebEx Audio Conferencing starting at 11:00 a.m. The following Board members participated: Chairman Dan Beiser, Commissioners Leslie Breuer Jr, Beth Doria, Lydia Gray, Charles MacKelvie, Benjamin Reyes, and Leslye Sandberg. Staff members Domenic DiCera, Bob Denneen, Michael Belmonte, and Donald Marquez also participated

LICENSEE REQUESTS:

Commissioner Reyes moved for approval of a race official at Fairmount Park, Inc for calendar year 2022. Commissioner MacKelvie seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously (7-0) by roll call vote.

Commissioner Breuer moved for approval of racing officials at Hawthorne Race Course, Inc for calendar year 2022. Commissioner Sandburg seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0) by roll call vote.

Commissioner Gray moved for approval of an Intertrack Wagering Location License for Hawthorne Race Course, Inc for calendar year 2022. Commissioner Reyes seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0) by roll call vote.

Commissioner Doria moved for approval of an occupation license for Voska Ventures to operate as a concessionaire for calendar year 2022. Commissioner Reyes seconded the motion. The motion passed (7-0) by roll call vote.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Commissioner MacKelvie moved to approve the minutes of the February 17, 2022, board meeting. Commissioner Sandburg seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously (7-0) by roll call vote.

ADJOURNMENT

At 11:29 AM., Commissioner Breuer moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Doria seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously (7-0) by roll call vote.
