2. Improving Reentry Education and Employment Outcomes
The Budget Committee designated $264,100 in FFY22 Improving Reentry Education and Employment Outcomes (IREEO) funds to Adler University for its Access to Higher Education in Prisons Program.
3. Justice Assistance Grants
The Budget Committee designated $6,165 in FFY18 Justice Assistance Grants (JAG) funds to Cook County’s Human Trafficking Outreach Coordinator Program to reflect final program expenditures of $111,425.
4. Victims of Crime Act

5. Violence Against Women Act
New Notice of Funding Opportunity
The Budget Committee allocated $1,410,000 in FFY22 Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) award for a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) soliciting two lead entities. These lead entities will oversee subgrants to organizations that provide services to underserved victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

The Budget Committee allocated $1.9 million in appropriated SFY23 Community Trauma Recovery Center (CTRC) funding to release a NOFO for grants to expand trauma recovery center services.
8. Co-Responder Pilot Program
New Designations
The Budget Committee designated $6,532,000 in SFY23 Co-Responder Pilot Program (CRPP) funds as described in the table below. The funds will be used to support licensed clinical social workers or licensed social workers who will work with law enforcement. The social workers will be responsible for conducting follow-up visits for victims who may benefit from mental or behavioral health services.
