Lewis University was included in five of the 2023 Best Online Graduate Degree Program rankings at usnews.com, placing the programs at the top in the United States. Designed for learners looking to complete or further their education, the rankings evaluate more than 1,800 online bachelor's and master's degree programs that are designed to be administered online.

U.S. News & World Report comprehensively evaluates online degrees at the program level rather than the school level. The rankings are based on indicators such as student services and technology, faculty credentials, and student engagement, using data collected directly from each institution. Only degree-granting programs that are offered primarily online by regionally accredited institutions were considered, and the programs that score the highest are those applying educational best practices specific to distance learners.

Lewis University’s Master of Criminal Justice program moved up five spots in the rankings this year to be No. 59 of the Best Online Master's in Criminal Justice Programs. The Lewis University program offers either a criminal justice or security studies track 100 percent online as well as in-person.

Lewis University is considered to be in the top 72-93 of Best Online Master's in Information Technology Programs. Lewis University provides a master’s Computer Science program in-person and online, a master’s Data Science program in-person and online, as well as a master’s Cybersecurity program in-person and online. They offer concentrations that lead to a variety of in-demand technology certifications that give students more focused credentials and skillsets.

Lewis University’s Master of Nursing program also moved higher by earning a ranking of 79 on the Best Online Master's in Nursing Programs list. Students learn how to design and execute complex healthcare strategies for a rapidly changing healthcare environment. Lewis University Graduate School of Management programs improved their placement to the 123 spot of the Best Online Master's in Business Programs (non-MBA) list. Master’s programs include Business Analytics, Finance, Organizational Leadership, and Project Management.

Lewis University’s Master of Business Administration program jumped up 29 spots to be the 185th among Best Online MBA Programs. Students can complete their degrees within 12 months and customize their degrees with career-focused stackable micro-credentials. Classes meet in eight-week sessions – 100 percent online, on campus, or a mix of both.
