Battle of the Bands to be Held March 31 at University Union

The Western Illinois University Jazz Studies Department, in partnership with the Music Business Department will host the Battle of the Bands for music makers of all genres, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, March 31 in the University Union's Heritage Room.

High school groups of any genre can entre to win cash prizes and applications to perform are due March 25.

Additional sponsors of the event are Macomb Square Music Company and Sweetwater, of Fort Wayne, IN.
