Journalist Cassandra MacDonald has raised concerns over the participation of two transgender cyclists who dominated the female competition at the Illinois State Championships.

The discussion surrounding these athletes includes their past participation in both men's and women's categories, where they excelled against female competitors but did not perform as well against male counterparts, accumulating multiple titles in women's categories.

“Two transgender cyclists have destroyed the female competition at the Illinois State Championships,” MacDonald said on X.

“One of the biological male gold medalists was in a ‘throuple’ with another transgender athlete who was caught shoving a female competitor in 2022.”

“‘Evelyn Williamson’ previously competed in both the men’s and women’s categories at the Sky Express Winter Criterium in 2020. He came in first place against women but did not place when competing against other men. He has now collected at least 18 titles in women’s categories.”

Activist Chris Rufo has released a video exploring a potential link between the rise in transgender identification and the financial support of Gov. J.B. Pritzker and his cousin, Jennifer Pritzker, who has funded initiatives promoting "synthetic sex identities." The video suggests that substantial financial contributions from Jennifer Pritzker and other wealthy individuals have played a role in advancing transgender-related causes, while also highlighting concerns about medical experiments on children and the promotion of gender theory in schools.

The Chicago Republican Party is condemning the Springfield YMCA for labeling a teenage swimmer's protest against a biological male transgender swimmer in the girls' facilities as "hate speech," resulting in the girl being removed from the swim team, Chicago City Wire reported. The incident has raised concerns about potential privacy violations and discomfort for female athletes, leading to a press conference supported by former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines, who advocates for the rights of female athletes.

U.S. Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) has joined forces with Gaines to advocate for the rights of female athletes who are forced to compete against transgender individuals born male, according to East Central Reporter. Miller, a mother of five daughters, expressed her concern about the inclusion of biological males in girls' sports and criticized President Joe Biden's executive order that she believes threatens Title IX protections. Gaines highlighted the discomfort female swimmers faced sharing locker rooms with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas and emphasized her intention to ensure fair and safe competition, not to ban transgender athletes.
