The Arena, located in Springfield, Illinois, is set to host a series of family-friendly events during the 2024 Illinois State Fair. Tickets for these popular events are currently available for purchase.

The lineup begins with Monsters of Destruction on Thursday, August 8. This event will feature an adrenaline-pumping monster truck show with trucks such as Against the Grain, Redneck Rampage, American Scout, Crusharoo and War Wizard. Attendees can also expect a Tuff Trucks competition and a unique side-by-side contest.

In addition to the truck battles, there will be a Pit Party open two hours before the show where attendees can meet the drivers and even take a ride on a real monster truck. Adult tickets start at $25 and children's tickets at $20. VIP packages including premium seating and a monster truck ride are available for $40.

On Saturday, August 10, Wooten Rodeo will present nine rodeo events including Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding and more. Tickets for this event are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

The following week from Monday to Wednesday (August 12-14), the Illinois Tractor Pulling Association (ITPA) returns to The Arena for three days of tractor pulls. The roar of engines and competitive spirit promise to make this event unforgettable. Ticket prices mirror those of the rodeo event.

The Demolition Derby takes place on Saturday, August 17 where drivers compete in an automotive battle until only one remains standing as the Illinois State Fair Demolition Derby Champion. This thrilling event is always a crowd favorite with tickets priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children.

"The Arena is freshly remodeled with numerous enhancements following an $8.6 million investment," said Jerry Costello II, Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture. "We are excited to fill this outdoor space with a solid lineup of entertainment during the Illinois State Fair."

We encourage fairgoers to purchase their tickets in advance to beat the lines at the gate and ensure they won't miss any of the action inside The Arena!
