Illinois Department of Labor to discuss amusement ride safety at State Fair

The Illinois Department of Labor's Carnival Manager, Brian Fox, will discuss amusement ride safety at the State Fair. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. It will take place at the Illinois State Fairgrounds Midway located at 801 Sangamon Avenue, Springfield, IL 62706.

Those planning to attend should contact Paul Cicchini at 217-785-1719 or via email at paul.cicchini@illinois.gov. Media representatives are advised to convene at the main entrance to the midway.
