The Illinois State Fair Box Office will commence in-person ticket sales for grandstand events on Thursday, June 1. Operating hours for the box office are set from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and an additional window from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 5. Tickets can also be purchased online via Ticketmaster.
Aside from concert tickets, visitors can buy passes for other attractions at the fair, including the ISF Bares, Broncs and Bulls rodeo, the ISF Championship Demolition Derby, and the ITPA Truck & Tractor Pulls sponsored by the Illinois Soybean Association.
"We are excited to be partnering with the Illinois Department of Agriculture to help host this event," stated Ron Kindred, Vice Chair of the Illinois Soybean Association. "The Illinois State Fair is a wonderful event where guests are able to combine fun and education all in one place. We are thrilled to be providing the opportunity for people to enjoy the tractor pull where many tractors will be using biodiesel blends made with soybean oil from Illinois farms."
Discounted Mega Passes are available both at the Emmerson Building and online. The Mega Pass costs $70 while a Jumbo Pass, which includes access to the Giant Slide, is priced at $80 until July 31; prices increase by $20 after that date.
For $45, attendees can purchase an Admission Bargain Book that offers eleven any-day admissions to this year's fair. Additionally, a Seasonal Infield Parking Pass is available for $40 allowing parking access throughout all eleven days of the fair.
Concert highlights include performances by Old Dominion on August 11 and Alanis Morissette on August 13 among others scheduled through August 20 featuring acts like REO Speedwagon and Tim McGraw.
An optional Pre-Show Party ticket upgrade is available for all concerts at an additional cost of $30.
