Cannabis sales for February 2024 see slight increase from January

The February 2024 sales figures for adult-use cannabis have been released, revealing a slight increase in total sales compared to the previous month. The data shows that 3,636,925 items were sold in February, generating $135,571,931.44 in total sales. This marks an increase from January's total of $133,787,753.89.

Breaking down the numbers further, in-state residents accounted for $104,507,566.30 of February's sales. Out-of-state resident purchases contributed $31,064,365.14 to the month's total revenue.

In comparison to February 2023, there was a decline in both the number of items sold and the overall sales figures. In February 2023, a total of 2,911,925 items were sold resulting in $120,488,569.91 in revenue.

The year-on-year analysis indicates fluctuations in monthly cannabis sales throughout 2023 with December seeing the highest sales volume and revenue at 4,213,747 items sold and a total of $153,935,089.98 generated.
