Miranda Lambert, a three-time GRAMMY winner and the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history, is set to perform at the Illinois State Fair on Saturday, August 17. Lambert's eighth solo album, "Palomino," released in 2022, was recognized as the largest female country album debut of the year and received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album. The album was highlighted by several major publications including the New York Times and Rolling Stone.

Rebecca Clark, Illinois State Fair Manager, expressed enthusiasm about Lambert's upcoming performance: "Miranda Lambert is a high-energy performer who will have everyone in the Illinois State Fair Grandstand singing along to her hit songs."

Lambert's appearance at the fair follows her headlining Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino's Bakkt Theater, which began in late 2022 and will continue through April.

Opening for Lambert will be Gavin Adcock, a Georgia native who has gained popularity with his music after recovering from a college football injury. His recent single "A Cigarette" has been streamed 30 million times.

Tickets for the concert go on sale March 23 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. Prices range from $85 to $150 depending on seating tier, with an additional $30 Pre-Show Party ticket available as an upgrade. Flexible payment options may be offered through Klarna for qualified buyers.
