The Illinois State Fair Box Office is set to open for in-person ticket sales on Monday, June 3. Operating hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com.
On June 3, those who buy Grandstand tickets in person will be entered into a drawing for two pre-show tickets. Additionally, buyers of Fairytales on Ice tickets will receive one Illinois State Fair gate admission ticket for each ice show ticket purchased, granting free entrance to the fair.
Tickets for various events at The Arena, including the Illinois State Fair Rodeo on August 10 and the ITPA Truck and Tractor Pulls from August 12-14, are available at the box office. Other events include the Demolition Derby on August 17 and racing series such as USAC Silver Crown Racing and ARCA Super Series.
"The 2024 Illinois State Fair is packed with entertainment options for the whole family," said Jerry Costello II, Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture. "The box office opening day specials are even more reason to come out and buy tickets in person."
Discounted Mega Passes can be bought at the Emmerson Building or online. The Mega Pass costs $80 while a Jumbo Pass, which includes access to the Giant Slide, is priced at $90 until July 31. Prices will increase by $20 starting August 1.
For $45, an Admission Book offers 11 any-day admissions to the fair. A Seasonal Infield Parking Pass is available for $40, allowing parking on the infield throughout all eleven days of the event.
"We invite everyone to stock up on money-saving Mega Passes and Jumbo Passes before the prices increase in August," said Rebecca Clark, Illinois State Fair Manager. "Summer fun for families is affordable when you take advantage of these discounts."
The Grandstand Concert lineup includes performances by Keith Urban with Mackenzie Porter on August 9 and Mötley Crüe on August 10. Ticket prices vary by tier and seating area.
Other ticketed events include Monsters of Destruction (Monster Truck show) on August 8 with advance adult tickets priced at $25 and children’s tickets at $20. The event day prices are slightly higher.
