The Illinois State Fair has announced a holiday sale offering significant discounts on Mega and Jumbo passes. Starting Monday, November 4, the Mega Pass will be available for $70, granting unlimited carnival rides. The Jumbo Pass, priced at $80, includes unlimited rides plus access to the Giant Slide. Prices for both passes will increase by $10 on January 1, 2025.

Rebecca Clark, Illinois State Fair Manager, highlighted the value of these passes as gifts: "The Illinois State Fair is a wonderful way to make memories with your family," she said. "Instead of buying another toy or electronic gadget, give kids the gift of experience with Mega and Jumbo Passes and enjoy quality time together this summer."

In addition to the ride passes, Admission Bargain Books and Seasonal Infield Parking Passes are also available. The Admission Bargain Book offers 11 any-day admissions to the 2025 fair for $45. The Seasonal Infield Parking Pass costs $40 and provides parking access on the infield throughout all 11 days of the event.

Purchases can be made online at statefair.illinois.gov, by mail using an application from their website, or by phone at (217) 782-0775.

For those interested in culinary delights, the Illinois' Best Blue Ribbon Recipes cookbook is available for purchase. It features award-winning recipes from the 2024 fair and costs $15 when picked up onsite or $20 if shipped.

The upcoming Illinois State Fair is scheduled for August 7-17, 2025. For updates and news about the event, individuals can sign up for Main Gate Insider alerts via statefair.illinois.gov.
