Country music sensation Megan Moroney is scheduled to perform at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand on Saturday, August 10. Known as "Country's New Darling," Moroney will bring her unique style to Springfield, Illinois.
Moroney has achieved nearly 2 billion global streams and recently released a critically acclaimed sophomore album in July 2024. This album debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 and was recognized as the third-biggest debut by a female country artist this year. The record features tracks like "No Caller ID," which set a streaming record for a country female song debut in the U.S., continuing her rise that began with her hit "Tennessee Orange."
Jerry Costello II, Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture, expressed enthusiasm for Moroney's upcoming performance: "The Illinois State Fair has a long tradition of showcasing artists early in their careers. We're looking forward to Megan Moroney's Grandstand appearance in August. She has a bright future in Country music."
Moroney's success includes winning accolades such as awards at the 2023 CMT Music Awards and being the most nominated female artist at the 59th ACM Awards with six nominations. She is also up for three categories at The 58th Annual CMA Awards, airing November 20.
Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark commented on ticket pricing: "Our special discounted pricing makes it affordable to catch Megan Moroney in concert. Fans love her honest lyrics and high energy performances, and we can't wait to have her light up the Grandstand."
Tickets will be available starting Saturday, November 16 at Ticketmaster. Special discounted prices are offered for various sections, with prices ranging from $47 to $122.
The Illinois State Fair runs from August 7 through August 17, 2025.
