The Illinois State Museum in Springfield will temporarily close its doors on November 25 and 26. This closure is due to ongoing plumbing work at the museum's main facility located at 502 S. Spring St.
The museum will resume operations on Wednesday, November 27, and remain open through Friday, November 29. These dates coincide with the Thanksgiving break, providing an opportunity for families and individuals to visit.
