Darlene J. Hayden, 76, of Blue Island, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Citadel of Bourbonnais. Born on October 2, 1948 in Chicago to Harry R. & Marie J. (Scardina) Williamson, Darlene was married to Charles Hayden of Blue Island.

Darlene worked as a waitress for 30 years and cherished the holiday season, especially enjoying watching Hallmark movies. She is survived by her husband Charles Hayden, sons Charles Wilson (Lydia Claudia) and Jerry Wilson, daughter Andrea Wilson (Frank Torres), sister Sandra (Rich) Knoppel, brothers Ron (Joan) Williamson and Butch Williamson, and grandchildren Shane Chomko and Beau Chomko. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents and brother Gary Williamson.

Cremation rites have been completed, with a memorial visitation scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. memorial service. Sympathy gestures for the family can be sent through the Sympathy Store.
