William "Bill" Saathoff, 61, of New Haven, MI, formerly of Bourbonnais, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at his home. Born on October 19, 1963, in Ottawa, IL, to Jerome and Donna (Yohnka) Saathoff, Bill married Kathy Potter on August 4, 1984 in Chebanse.

Bill enjoyed traveling with his family and had recently returned from a trip to Japan. He relished cruises and Disney vacations, creating lasting memories with his loved ones. An avid car enthusiast, Bill's greatest joy was spending time with his daughter and granddaughter.

Survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy of New Haven, MI, his mother Donna of Bourbonnais, daughter and son-in-law Alicia (Kevin) Scott of Chesterfield, MI, sister and brother-in-law Mary (Bill) Hertz of Limestone, brother and sister-in-law Guy (Laurie) Saathoff of Bourbonnais, granddaughter Aubrey Scott, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bill is preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. until the 6:00 p.m. service on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Cremation rites will follow the service. Sympathy gestures for the family may be made through the Sympathy Store.
