Frankfort, IL - Charles E. Kondas, age 92, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Janet (nee Bradley) Kondas; children Chet, Carolyn (Mike), Courtnay, and Brad (Kara) Kondas; grandchildren Michael, Kyle, Brett Laird, and Jack Kondas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, George and Anna Kondas, and his brother Edward (Evelyn) Kondas.

Charles proudly served in the United States Marine Corps before embarking on a 35-year career in the Steel Industry. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife Janet, exploring various countries and visiting Hawaii. In his leisure time, Charles was an enthusiastic golfer, tennis player, downhill skier, chess player, and had a passion for live theatre, musicals, and antiquing. He was also a devoted supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.

Services for Charles will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort on Friday, November 29, 2024, with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass at 10:30 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with full military honors.
