Michael W. Twohill | O'Neil Funeral Home And Heritage Crematory - Lockport

Michael W. Twohill, widely known as “Mike” or “Mickey,” aged 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, surrounded by family in Lemont. A Chicago native and United States Army veteran, he retired in 1993 after 22 years at Electro-Motive, building locomotives. An active member of Calvary Church, Lemont, and former member of Maranatha Chapel, he was a dedicated usher. Fond of fishing, camping, and repairing items, he deeply valued watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren's activities. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, he is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Carol, five children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tunnel to Towers Foundation are welcomed. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Calvary Church, with visitation on Friday, November 22, 2024.
