Philip F. Varnagis, aged 92, a longtime Certified Public Accountant, passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen E. Varnagis (nee Roach) and the loving father of Philip M., Jean Bak, Frank, and John Varnagis. Philip was the proud grandfather of Lauren Russell, Nicole Scott, Meaghan Parr, Jennifer Bilka, and Kyle Bak, and the cherished great-grandfather of Madison, Grayson, Brynn, Jackson, Monroe, Abigail, and Cora. He was the dear brother of the late Sylvia Stahl and a kind uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2-7 p.m. The Funeral Service is scheduled to begin on Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, with Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Church, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Veterans Administration are appreciated. Memories and condolences can be shared on Philip’s Tribute Wall on the Sheehy Funeral Home website. To honor Philip, flowers can be sent to the family or a tree planted in his memory through the floral store.
