Alfred J. Michuda, a proud US Army veteran and former Assistant Chief Engineer at Calumet City Water Reclamation Plant of Greater Chicago, passed away at the age of 83. Survived by his wife Eva Michuda, sons Christopher and Robert Michuda, grandchildren Chloe, Conor, Kate, Camryn Michuda, Daniel, and Aidan Ritz, and brother Edward Michuda. Preceded in death by his parents August and Hermina Michuda, and siblings Virginia Harar, Andrew Michuda, Brother Thomas Michuda, FSC, Gerald Michuda, and Augustine "Gus" Michuda. Visitation on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday starting at 8:45 a.m. at Lawn Funeral Home, with Mass at St. Michael Church at 9:30 a.m. Donations in his memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
