Ann E. Ruane (nee Sloan), aged 93, passed away. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and raised in Rostrevor, Co. Down Ireland, she was the beloved wife of 59 years to the late Thomas Ruane, Ret. Captain CFD. Ann was the devoted mother of Kevin, Ann Banti, Thomas CFD, Patricia Scannell, the late Karen, Michael, and Paul Ruane. She was the cherished grandmother of Matthew, Edward, Jim, Meghan, Morgan, Thomas, Mary Kate, Sean, Neal, Vincent, Brian, Kara, Stephen, Katie, Jack, Hannah, Kelly, Christopher, Chiara, Mira, and Liam. Ann was the adored great-grandmother of 22 and predeceased by her siblings James, Michael, Peter, Theresa, and Kathleen. She was a kind aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church, with Mass at 10:00 a.m.
