Illinois updates motor fuel use tax rate for early 2025

Illinois has announced a change in the Motor Fuel Use Tax rate, which will be effective from January 1, 2025, through June 30, 2025. The tax consists of two parts, Part A and Part B, and is applicable to licensees under the International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA). These rates are detailed in Informational Bulletin FY 2025-18 and are intended for use on quarterly IFTA returns.
