Gloria J. Shook, wife of the late John "Jack" Shook and mother of Shawn Shook, has passed away. She was also a stepmother to Carolyn Schuetter and the late John Shook Jr., and a grandmother to several grandchildren. Gloria was the daughter of the late Steven and Victoria Rogala and sister of Janice Danca. She worked for Sears Roebuck and the National Park Service in Naples, Florida. Donations in her honor can be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-8 p.m. The funeral service is set for Saturday at 8:45 a.m. at Lawn Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL, followed by a 9:30 a.m. mass at St. Stephen and Deacon Martyr Church.
