The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), ABC of Illinois, and the Technology and Manufacturing Association are hosting an event for small business owners to engage with legislative matters in Illinois. The event, scheduled for Tuesday, March 18, 2025, will take place at Arlington's on the second floor located at 210 Broadway, Springfield, IL.
The Small Business Legislative Day aims to provide insights into key legislation affecting small businesses. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about state programs and policies that impact their operations. The event runs from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and will be followed by a Legislative Reception from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Registration for the event costs $25, which covers participation in both the programming and reception. Topics of discussion include taxes, environmental and workplace regulations, as well as resources available for small businesses.
Panelists will feature elected officials alongside representatives from various state agencies such as the Illinois Department of Labor and the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
