Theodore R. Justyn | Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Homer Glen

Homer Glen – Theodore R. Justyn, an Air National Guard Veteran, peacefully passed away with a legacy of love, adventure, and resilience. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia and the devoted companion of the late Martha Klimas. Ted was the loving father of Scott (Laura) Justyn and Lynette (Gary) Shemanski. He was the dear grandfather of Melissa (Eric) Multon and Joseph Justyn. Ted was set to become the future great-grandfather of Gavin Theodore Multon and the fond brother of the late John (the late Pat) Justyn. He is remembered by his nephews Matt (Connie), David (Mary), and Wendy (Kevin).

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17, at 9:45 a.m. at RICHARD J MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 12641 W 143RD ST, HOMER GLEN, proceeding to St. Bernard Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Ted had a passion for his swimming pool, sailing in the Caribbean, and traveling, particularly to Hawaii. A proud caretaker of his home, he loved hosting gatherings that brought joy to family and friends. Despite facing physical challenges, Ted's courage and enduring spirit left an unforgettable legacy marked by strength, love, and cherished memories.
