Joseph Oster | Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Homer Glen

Homer Glen - Joe Oster, 79, a veteran of the Army Reserve, passed away. He was the loving husband of Nancy (nee Guidici) and the cherished father of Phil (Megan) Oster and Ryan (Lourdes) Oster. Joe was the beloved Grandpa of Mackenzie, Vanessa, Bryce, and Wesley. He was the dear brother of Betty (Michael) Pilar, and leaves behind many nieces, relatives, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 9:45 a.m. at RICHARD J MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 12641 W. 143rd Street, Homer Glen 60491, proceeding to St. Bernard Church, 13030 W. 143rd Street, Homer Glen, for a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Joe had a passion for fishing, was an avid car enthusiast, and played an active role in the Chicago Lionel Railroad Club. He found joy in traveling with his wife, particularly enjoying trips to Florida.
