Lillian Cann (nee Pendrak), born in 1926 to Polish parents and a longtime resident of the south suburbs of Chicago, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 26, in Crown Point, Indiana.

She was the devoted wife of Robert Cann for 44 years and the loving mother of Robin (Danny) Bellezzo, Robert (Karen) Cann, Teri Cann, Alan (Beth) Cann, and the late Rodney Cann in 1997. Lillian was a beloved grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister to Leona (Al) Hathaway and was preceded in death by four sisters. Lillian's memory lives on in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, and friends of all ages.

Lillian's life exemplified kindness, laughter, selflessness, and love. Her legacy is one of unwavering compassion and daily acts of love. She taught us the true meaning of selflessness and inspired us to cherish life's moments. Her presence in our lives was a reminder that every day is a gift to be lived fully.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, January 31, from 4-7 p.m. at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home, located at 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood. A prayer service will be held on Saturday at 10:45 a.m. at the Funeral Home, followed by Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Kieran Church. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
