Lawrence E. Stanek, a U.S. Marine Veteran of World War II, passed on at the age of 102. He was the beloved husband of the late Ann and loving father of Joanne Stanek. Lawrence was the dear son of Joseph and Anna Stanek, and brother of Richard, Ray, and Roy Stanek. He was fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Lawrence dedicated over 40 years to his work as a lithographer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. with prayers at 11:00 a.m. at Becvar & Son Funeral Home, Crestwood. Services will continue at St. Alexander Church, Palos Heights, for an 11:30 a.m. Mass, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
