Alan D. "Al" Meurer | O'Neil Funeral Home And Heritage Crematory - Lockport

Lockport - Alan D. "Al" Meurer, 73, of Lockport, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Joliet and a lifelong resident of Lockport, Al retired from Bert Adams Pontiac in Joliet after many years of dedicated service. He was known as an avid sportsman, gun collector, and a Harley enthusiast. Al was a member of Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church in Lockport.

He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Alan Meurer, in 2023, and his parents, Joseph and Vivian Meurer.

Al is survived by his loving wife, Judy Temen; cherished daughter, Heather Meurer; and devoted friends Emily Evans and Sarah Gogola.

Cremation rites have been respectfully addressed per Al's wishes.
