Scott T. Marizza, affectionately known as "Turtle", of Diamond, IL, aged 40, passed away on January 8, 2025, in Coal City, IL. Born on July 17, 1984, in Joliet, IL, Scott was a member of the Millwright Local 1693 and cherished playing pinball and camping. He was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Coal City.

Scott is survived by his son Grayson Marizza, parents Dennis Marizza and Debbie Marizza, sisters Amie Marizza and Robyn Marizza, grandmother Margie Colaric, uncle Rick Scott, special friends Dylan Bernal, the McCants family, and numerous aunts, uncles, and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Cremation rites have been honored. A visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church in Coal City on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, starting at 2:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 5:00 pm. Private inurnment will take place at Braceville-Gardner Cemetery in Braceville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in Scott's memory.
