Shane James Pampuch, 56, of Diamond, IL, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Born on July 1, 1968, in Joliet, IL, to James and Judith Pampuch. On March 27, 1993, he married Lynn Cromp, and together they created a life filled with love and family. Shane was a devoted laborer, working for Ardex Americas in Bourbonnais and Berkots in Wilmington. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed watching classic TV shows and fishing. Shane cherished spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, particularly during family game nights. Remembered for his love and kindness, Shane leaves behind a legacy that will be felt for generations.

He is survived by his wife Lynn Pampuch, children Jamie Cromp (Gary Donnelly), Kaitlin Pampuch, Michael Pampuch (Alex Michalak), and Madison Pampuch, grandchildren Bradyn and Aubrey Donnelly, mother Judith Pampuch, sister Shilo (Pat) Canning, brother Shannon Pampuch (Pat Mayfield), and beloved dogs Lexi and Rosie. He is preceded in death by his father, James Pampuch, and grandparents.

Cremation rites have been observed. A memorial visitation will be held at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, January 25, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am, with the funeral service commencing at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Shane's honor.
