Angela was the beloved wife of Jose R. Alvarez for 45 years. She was a devoted mother to Patricia, Rosangela, and Kimberly (Daniel Castillo) Alvarez. Angela was a proud grandma to Miguel, Michael, Aidan, Felix, Sofia, Mateo, Cristian, and Daniel.
Angela was the loving daughter of Juana and the late Mariano Tovar. She was a dear sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many, spreading her kindness and warmth to all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL. Family and friends are invited to gather directly at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Blue Island on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 9:50 a.m. for Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Casimir Cemetery.
