Mokena, Illinois - Dale E. Jesk, age 89, of Mokena, IL, passed away on January 15, 2025. A dedicated parishioner of St. Mary Church in Mokena, Dale is survived by his loving wife Renetta Jesk (nee Dewar) of 71 years. He was a cherished father to Dale (Gino) Maira, Terry (Tanna) Jesk, and Patrice (Mark) Hickey. He was also a proud grandfather to Phillip, Angela, Michael, Jenna, Douglas, Sarah, the late Joseph, Jamie, Alexis, Ryan, Collin, and Jillian. Dale was a loving great-grandfather to Juliona, Makenzie, Charlotte, Scotlyn, Connor, Colin, Emerson, and Lucille.

Dale will be remembered as the caring brother of Sharon (late Allen) Poe, John (late Sharon) Jesk, and Robin (Joanne) Jesk. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Mary Jesk, as well as siblings James Jr., Mary, and Terry. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Vandenberg Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary Church in Mokena at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Mokena.
