Joseph Allen Tapia, aged 59, of Romeoville, will be remembered by his family and friends. He was the devoted father of Jason Tapia, Jessica Cushing (James), and Jennifer Tapia (Zack Johnson). Joseph was a cherished grandfather to Tyler, Adrianna, Hailey, Evelyn, Joseph, and Abigail. He was the son of Margaret and the late Paul Tapia and the loving brother of Chuck Tapia (Dawn), Chris Braasch (Chuck), and Theresa Feeney. Nephew of Joyce Billis, the late Joe Billis, and he leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, starting at 2 p.m. until the time of the Chapel Service at 6 p.m. at Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 12641 W. 143rd Street, Homer Glen, IL 60491. Interment will be private.

Joseph was a member of International Operating Engineer Local #150 and an avid fisherman. He held deep affection for his family and friends, his dog Holly Quinn, and showed unwavering loyalty to The Bears.
