Isabel Godoy, Devoted Mother and Seamstress, Passes Away at 89

Isabel Eugenia Godoy, a beloved mother, grandmother, and talented seamstress, passed away at the age of 89. Born on November 15, 1935 in Ecuador, she immigrated to Chicago, Illinois in the 1970s to create a better life for her family. Isabel is survived by her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her loyal companion, Chewy. A funeral service will be held on February 28, 2025, at Sagrada Familia Funeral Home in Burbank, Illinois, with a funeral mass to follow on March 1, 2025, at Sacred Heart Church in Palos Hills. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
