Franciszek "Frank" Mietus, aged 85, passed away on February 16, 2025, in Justice, Illinois. He was the beloved husband of Zofia "Sophie" (nee Styrczula) and the loving father of Chester (Agnieszka) Mietus, Roman (Marta) Mietus, and Eva (Zbigniew) Goryl. Frank was the dear grandfather of Anna Mietus, Amelia Mietus, Tom Goryl, and Maya Goryl. He was the cherished son of the late Aniela (nee Czyz) and the late Franciszek Mietus and the fond brother of the late Jan (Maria) Mietus, Bruno (Wladyslawa) Mietus, and the late Anna Mietus.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation scheduled for Friday, February 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Prayers and the Procession will commence from the funeral home to St. Fabian Church in Bridgeview, Illinois, for a 12:00 PM Mass. Following the service, interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
