Kazimierz "Casey" Borej | Kaminski Family Funeral Homes & Cremation
Born on February 18, 1956, in Skarżysko-Kamienna, Poland, he was the son of the late Henryk and Alexandra Borej. Kazimierz graduated from Business and Economy College in Poland before immigrating to the U.S. in 1988 with his family. He enjoyed a successful career in the commercial trucking industry, spanning over 35 years.
With a passion for cars, tending his yard, and a soft spot for animals, Kazimierz was known for grilling an extra steak for his four pets.
He will be remembered for his dedication to his family. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth Borej; sons, Bartlomiej Borej (Fallon Borej) and Mateusz Borej (Brooke Borej); grandchildren, Conrad, Niko, and Willow; siblings, Izabela, Irena, Ryszard, and Tadeusz Borej; and the Demczyszyn family. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Preceded in death by his parents, Henryk and Alexandra Borej.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
