Therese F. "Terry" McDonough, nee Crabb, age 98, of Tinley Park, formerly longtime Dolton, IL, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late John M. McDonough and the devoted mother of John Michael (Terry) McDonough, Mary Therese McGushin, and Francis Joseph McDonough. Terry was also a proud grandmother of Megan McGushin, Jacqueline (Joseph) Wirth, Ryan (Hailey) McGushin, and Faith McDonough; and great-grandmother "G.G." of Michael, Fallon, Sydney, Brooks, Nellie, and Eden.

She was the dearest sister of Sr. Jeanne Finske and Anne (Frank) Chastler, and WWII Navy Vet the late Robert Finske. Terry was an E.R. nurse, an organist for many years, and a loving mother of 3 adopted children. She was loved by her family, friends, and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Chapel in South Holland, IL. Terry will lie in state on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at Christ Our Savior/St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in South Holland, IL, with Rev. Gosbert Rwezahura and Deacon Jim Renwick officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood, IL.
