Mary Marlene See, 76, affectionately known as Pumpkin, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025 in Justice, Illinois. Born on October 26, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, Mary's infectious smile and warm heart endeared her to all who knew her.

She was a devoted wife to William See, a loving mother to Kenneth H Bauman, and cherished moments with her daughter-in-law, Christa, and grandsons, Kenneth and Jonathon. Mary is survived by her sister Veronica, brother Timothy, and sister Denise. Preceded in death by her parents and several siblings, Mary's family bonds were filled with love and mutual respect.

As a homemaker, Mary devoted herself to her family and community, enjoying games like Scrabble, Bingo, Bunko, Pinochle, and Poverty Poker. Her competitive spirit and laughter illuminated game nights, becoming a cherished part of gatherings with friends and family.

Mary's kindness, strength, and courage in facing cancer were an inspiration to all. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will guide her family for generations to come.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. A private funeral service and time of remembrance will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Saint Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Illinois.
