Justice, Illinois - Feb. 25, 2025 - Alexander "Alex" Smolecki, 20, tragically passed away on February 25, 2025. Beloved as a son, grandson, brother, godfather, and boyfriend, Alex was known for his passion for swimming, love for the outdoors, and kind-hearted nature.

A dedicated swimmer, Alex found joy and purpose in the water, always pushing himself and inspiring those around him. He embraced challenges with energy and determination, whether in the pool, on hiking trails, or exploring new places during his travels.

Survived by his parents Bozena Smolecka and Stanisław Smolecki, siblings Magdalena (Adam) Maslach and Sebastian Smolecki, goddaughter Oliwia Maslach, grandparents, godfather, girlfriend, and numerous relatives, Alex's impact will be felt forever.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 with prayers and procession starting at 9:00AM at the funeral home, leading to Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission for a 10:00AM Mass. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
