Evelyn M. Schalmo | Clancy Gernon Funeral Homes - Bourbonnais
Evelyn M. Schalmo, 93, passed away on March 8, 2025, at Prairieview Lutheran Home Faith Place in Kankakee. She was born on November 4, 1931, in Cullom. Evelyn was a homemaker and a dedicated volunteer at Riverside Medical Center. She enjoyed dancing and shopping with her grandchildren and was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Bourbonnais. She is survived by her son, daughter, brother, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the American Lutheran Church in Bourbonnais, followed by interment at Kankakee Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lutheran Church or Prairieview Lutheran Home.
