Claire M. Fear, aged 93, passed away on March 12, 2025, at her home in Manteno. Born in Chicago, Claire was a dedicated employee of Evergreen Savings and Loan and a lifelong member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, cruises, and traveling to Las Vegas, but above all, cherished time with her grandchildren. Claire is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Manteno, with interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
