Michael G. McAuliffe, 80, a Vietnam Navy Veteran, passed away on March 3, 2025. Beloved husband of Mary, nee McCaffrey, and devoted father of Kathryn (Robert) Obernesser, Kevin (Lisa) McAuliffe, and Megan (Tim) Fagan. He was a proud grandfather of Daniel, Michael, and Patrick Obernesser, Madeline, Ryan, and Conor McAuliffe, and Mary, Margaret, and Thomas Fagan. Dearest son of the late Joseph and Eileen McAuliffe, he was the loving brother of Maggie (the late Ted) Tuzik and Daniel (Marie) McAuliffe. He was preceded in death by his siblings Joseph “Butch” and Tim McAuliffe. A proud 40-year member of I.B.E.W. Local 134, Michael will be deeply missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, with the funeral service on Tuesday at St. Veronica Church. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
