Andrew "Andy" C. Walczak, aged 48, of Lockport, passed away. He was the loving husband of Annette (nee Goff) and best dad of Katelyn and Matthew. Andy was the devoted son of Anna and Chester Walczak, son-in-law of Barbara (the late Ronald) Goff, and beloved brother of Barbara (Joseph) Freund. He was the dear uncle of Lidia and Eva Freund, Dan (Carina) Steffens, Alicia (Anthony) Catezone, Melanie and JR Plotke, Alex, Rachel, Christopher, and Ellie Goff. Andy was also a brother-in-law of Matthew (the late Lynn) Goff, Cheryl (Jack) Steffens, and Valerie Plotke, and the loving nephew of Jane (Joe) Korziuk and Maria Figura. He will be remembered by many relatives and friends.

The funeral for Andy will be held on Saturday, March 15, starting at 9:15 a.m. from Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 12641 W. 143rd St, Homer Glen, to St. Bernard Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. He will be interred at Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 14, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Andy enjoyed spending summers camping and participating in outdoor activities with his family and loved ones. A graduate of Ridgewood High School in 1996, he pursued a bachelor’s degree and built a successful career at APP/Abraxis/Fresenius Kabi as a metrologist/manager for over 25 years. Andy married Annette Goff on September 2, 2007, and treasured moments with his children, engaging in various activities and making cherished memories. He had a passion for warm weather, the beach, sunbathing, and embarking on new adventures with his family. Andy's joyful spirit and impact on those around him will be deeply missed by his friends and colleagues.
