Helen Marie Szyper, known affectionately as "Mom" to her family, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, after a brief illness. Born on June 1, 1941, in Chicago to Lorretta and Bill Sheehan, Helen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She married Stan Szyper on June 10, 1961, and together they had three daughters and two grandchildren.

Helen and Stan were founding members of Incarnation Parish in Crestwood and were known for their strong bond and love for each other. Helen dedicated her life to her family, taking on various roles within the community and showing unconditional love and support to her loved ones. Her generosity, kindness, and sense of humor will be deeply missed.

Survived by her husband, daughters, and grandchildren, Helen is remembered fondly by all who knew her. Memorial services are pending at this time, with arrangements being handled by the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood.
