Dorothy H. Novotney, nee Maurer, aged 84, passed away. She was the beloved wife of Thomas for 55 years and the loving mother of six children. Dorothy was known as "gramma" to her many grandchildren and was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many.

An active member of the Evergreen Park community, Dorothy served as a preschool teacher, President of the Senior Council, and a volunteer at the Office of Citizen Services. She was a proud parishioner and choir member at Most Holy Redeemer Church.

Visitation for Dorothy will be on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, April 28th, starting with Chapel Prayers at 9:00 a.m. at Becvar & Son Funeral Home. The service will then continue at Most Holy Redeemer Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass, followed by interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
