John T. O’Connell, 93, Korean War Army Veteran and retired Chicago Fire Department member, passed away. He is survived by children Karen, Susan, John, and Christopher; grandchildren Jim, Elizabeth, Annie, Wyatt, Olivia; great-grandchild Eloise; and family members. John was the husband of the late Loretta O’Connell and son of William and Winifred. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge, with the funeral service on Wednesday at St. Christina Church in Chicago.
